The Santa Fe belongs on your shortlist when a third row solves a real passenger problem. Bring the people and luggage you normally carry before deciding which trim to buy. A larger vehicle is only useful if the seating, access and remaining load space work together.

Hyundai Canada's 2026 Santa Fe page describes standard seven-passenger seating and an available six-passenger layout with second-row captain's chairs. Those are different family arrangements: captain's chairs remove one seating position. Check the exact unit before planning who sits where.

Keep the year and powertrain together

The same official 2026 page presents a 1.6-litre turbo hybrid and six-speed automatic. Its presentation does not establish the specification of every vehicle advertised under the Santa Fe name. Record the dealer listing's full year, model, trim and fuel type, then obtain the matching Canadian equipment sheet.

The current Santa Fe showroom presents 2027. A photograph or feature on that page should not be used to promise equipment on a 2026 gasoline or hybrid listing. Ask the dealer to resolve a missing or conflicting field for the stock number you are considering.
